Lucas Hot Rod & Classic Car Motor Oil SAE 10W-40 is manufactured with the highest quality paraffinic base oils and is fortified with a unique additive package containing high levels of zinc, molybdenum and phosphorus, which provides a tougher, thicker additive film for maximum protection even under the most severe conditions. It lowers oil temperatures, extends oil life and minimizes metal fatigue. It improves the film strength between the cylinder wall and piston rings and slows oil burning and improves pressure in worn engines. It has good cold temperature properties and stands up to high operating temperatures. It is compatible with methanol and all racing fuels, as well as with synthetic and non-synthetic oils.

Lucas Hot Rod & Classic Car Motor Oil SAE 10W-40 is for muscle, showroom, classic and trophy cars without catalytic converters. It can be used in racing applications. Not recommended for passenger car use.

Available in convenient 5 quart bottles, the formulation is perfect for the Hot Rod and Classic Car crowd with an increased zinc value of 2100 PPM. Because many of these very special machines often spend long periods off the roads, a number of the components of the additive package used in Lucas' Marine oils to provide rust and corrosion protection have been included in its unique formula.

George Waters uses Lucas Fuel Treatment in All his Farm equipment

I own and operate a cattle farm in Central Kentucky. I have four farm tractors and three farm trucks. Recently, I noticed a problem with one of the large diesel tractors. It had started to emit a trail of dark grey smoke from the exhaust while idling and running. I had a local tractor shop look at it and was advised I was facing some very expensive fuel injection system repairs.

A short time later I happened to be at Fastech Service on another problem and mentioned to Dean and David Forbes about my tractor and inquired if they would repair it. I was asked if I would consider a tune up with Lucas products first. I was somewhat skeptical; but Fastech has a reputation for quality service, so I agreed.

David asked me to replace both fuel filtrs, completely filling the primary with Lucas fuel treatment only and adding apporximately 15 ounces to the fuel tank. To my complete surprise after only two hours of run time the engine no longer emits smoke. AT a short distance the only way to tell if the engine is running is to watch the flag on top of the muffler for movement. I cannot express in words how pleased I am with this Lucas product. It really works! Lucas fuel treatment now goes into the bulk fuel tank with each delivery.
